I missed the concert in Flagstaff, but Today I am very excited, because we are going to L.A. Los Ageles is one of my favorite cities in America. We are going to visit Hollywood at first, and then we will visit universal studios. Many people say that Los Angeles is the best city in America I agree with that.

Today, we entered Barstow. There was a series of beautiful murals along Main Street! When I saw the view of murals, I screamed, "How majestic these murals are!! I love this!!" I heard these murals were painted by a non-profit organization. I thought they must have loved this city. I really respected them.
Then, I met a very nice girl! Her name was Kate. I fell in love with her at first sight! I invited her for a date after this trip but she rejected me... Why!? OMG! I was in despair! Eventually, I exchanged e-mail address with her and we separated.

We reached the last stop of our trip, Los Angeles! We made it! It was the most beautiful and marvelous city I have ever seen. We ate dinner in Beverly Hills to commemorate the completion of our trip. It was greatest dinner I have ever had! Oh, GREAT CITY!!
Our trip is over. I'm already thinking about my next thrilled adventure. Thank you for everyone who followed this blog! See you again!

My trip on the Amtrak has almost come to an end. One of our last stops was the beautiful town- Barstow. We were able to get off the train and see the famous murals. I walked in the street and enjoyed looking at the fine murals. I thought that the painters must have spent plenty of time drawing those delicate works. Above all, I was into the mural of "THE ICE AGE", and then I became a fan of it. I felt all sorts of wild senses from this mural.
After leaving Barstow, I finally arrived in LA!! Then I had a party with my friends. At first, I thought that we could eat only junk food like pizza or fries, but it was not true. We were extraordinary delighted with the gorgeous meal, in spite of the hotel's reasonable accommodation fee. I'll never forget such a nice trip!!

By the time I'm on the train going to the Sandia Mountains, I have seen an amazing scenery of the southern part of the United States. Old beautiful houses among a lot of farms and people still living the normal humble life. Then we arrived at the Sandia Mountains. At this moment I saw the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Beautiful mountains in a great formation - that was awesome.
Subsequently the train started running to Albuquerque NM, where there are a lot of museums, galleries, and shops. For example, the Museum of Natural History and Science and the Museum of Art and History. Also there are a lot of locally owned boutiques. Very nice old historical town. However when we left Albuquerque the train to Flagstaff was late, so I felt so crabby. On top of that, I bought a ticket for the concert in Flagstaff, which I was very excited about, but I missed it because of the train. OMG I am so disappointed.

When we entered Albuquerque, we could see the Sandia Mountains. Oh, what a magnificent view is was! It was like heaven! I would like to climb that mountain next time.
Unfortunately, we were running late today. But it was no problem because we were not in a hurry. We are enjoying the slow trip:-)
There is the big festival of balloons called 'International Balloon Fiesta' in Albuquerque. But it is held in October. It is December now... I am so blue to miss it. I wanted to come here in October...
Then, we reached Flagstaff. This city was famous for music. There were some famous halls to play music. Whenever we walked through the street, we heard the cheerful, pleasant and lively music! I loved this city!
Our trip continued...
See you!

We arrived at Mendota today. I heard that Mendota is famous for the Sweet Corn Festival. I smelled sweet smells out of nowhere...:) It looked like a fascinating city. I wanted to go back there next summer holiday.
Then, we reached Fort Madison. I could see the Fort Madison Toll Bridge. It was an interesting shape. Its top level was for cars and bottom level for trains. I thought this city was a historic place. I was delighted to be there.
When I arrived at Kansas City, I was up to seeing the enormous Great Plains. I felt the comfortable wind from the blue sky. I was healed by it and I felt like I could forget everything negative. But then, one of my friends said he had a stomachache and used the toilet too long. I worried about him and was reminded of a negative thing...:(
I will update this blog tomorrow! See you later guys!

Today, we started our trip from Chicago to Los Angeles by Amtrak. I have two good friends to go with. Do you know Amtrak? It is a comfortable train which travels through America. There is a Sleeping Car, Dining Car, Lounge/Cafe and so on, which makes our trip more comfortable.
Then, there is a lot of spectacular scenery on this route called 'Southwest Chief'. That is the reason why we chose this route. We will go through many towns, cities, and states: Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Arizona, Southern California and so on.
I am so excited now because I can see so many interesting places. I will post a lot of interesting information on this blog for you. Please follow me! See you soon!

Recently, when I passed through Mendota, there was a strange man who wore a corn suit. At first I was totally baffled when I saw it, but I found out that it was a famous festival called Sweet Corn Festival.

Afterward, I went to Fort Madison where historical storefronts are. I saw the Fort Madison Downtown Commercial Historic District in which there are well-preserved historic storefronts built in 19th century. It was awesome! I really loved the scenery.
Lastly, I arrived in Kansas. Then I was in high spirits because I was able to take several pictures of fountains. However, I was blah because I couldn't enjoy barbecue. I made up my mind to have it when I would come here next time.

I am having an amazing trip. Recently we passed through Mendota IL which is the home of the Sweet Corn Festival. This was very awesome everybody was eating corn Lol. I'm very ecstatic about this journey. You can see people eating a lot of corn, drinking beer, and having fun. Also there are other special events like boating and fishing. Very nice experience. I recommend it.
Also we saw Fort Madison, a very beautiful and historical city. There are a lot of beautiful things to see in this city. For example the first U.S. military. Furthermore the city is the location of the Iowa state penitentiary. I felt so up in this city. That feeling ended when we went to Kansas city.

In Kansas city I had a lot of food., but I got sick from it so I stayed in the in-room toilet for the whole day. Thank god that there is an in-room toilet. My friend did't like that cuz he did not had any chance to use the toilet Lol. However we are going to the Sandia Mountains tomorrow. I am so excited.

Today I am very exited, because we are going on a journey across the country by Amtrak. I am sure that we will have so much fun in this trip. The train looks very good and comfortable and we just started taking pictures. The train started moving. It's gonna be a nice trip. We will see a lot of things from different states in the U.S. with different weather, reliefs, and lifestyles. It's good to travel by train to relax and chill - no more biking LOl. You can eat and drink and sleep. LET'S GO.

For a couple of weeks, I went to Los Angeles from Chicago using the Amtrak train.
In this post, I'm going to briefly introduce to you the points of interest in this trip.
On the way to the terminus, I could see several of America's heartlands
from inside the train- the unique rock formations of Arizona, past Native
American country in New Mexico, snow-capped peaks in Colorado, etc.
I was (moved that I was able to) catch a glimpse of many kinds of impressive and
magnificent landscapes through the window. I still have been haunted by the scenes.
(Likewise, the Amtrak provided us with nice equipment and services in the train). We were able to get enough rest because the train had sleeping rooms. Besides, the Car Attendants served us good dishes
at each meal time. (I wish that the Commuter Rail were also comfortable like Amtrak).
Anyway, I can say that the trip was undoubtedly enjoyable for me.
